Stitching Together a Future of Independence

Coming from a Paliyar tribal village, I was once shy and hesitant to speak or participate in discussions. The training at Grihini gave me confidence, motivation and the ability to think independently and make informed decisions. It also encouraged me to make thoughtful choices about my future rather than rushing into marriage. With the skills I gained, I purchased a sewing machine and now earn a good income by stitching blouses and churidars, becoming more confident and financially independent.
